bibic

bibic is a national charity offering practical help to families caring for children with conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, developmental delay, brain injury, and specific learning difficulties like ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. It specialises in understanding the causes of challenging behaviour and can even offer support if your child has not been diagnosed with a condition.

Peach

Peach is a parent-led group aiming to encourage, support and inform parents of children with autism. Peach aims to give guidance on obtaining a diagnosis of autism and stresses the importance of early behavioural intervention. It supports tutors and established practitioners as well as parents.

Ambitious About Autism

Ambitious About Autism works to improve the services available for children and young people with autism and increase awareness and understanding of the condition. They’re also committed to campaigning for change to ensure the needs of people with autism are met

Talk about Autism is their online community. A forum for parents of children with autism and others to talk about how autism impacts on their lives, and a place to share your story, get support and help other people to understand more about autism.

Contact a Family is a UK-wide charity providing support, advice and information to families with disabled children, no matter what their disability or health condition.
