The Moira Fund

The Moira Fund, a grant-making charity, was established in memory of Moira Jones who was murdered in Queen's Park, Glasgow in 2008. It makes grants to those bereaved through homicide and provides financial support to help with respite breaks, family attendance at trials, funeral expenses and other needs which may arise. Support after Murder and Manslaughter (SAMM)

Support after Murder and Manslaughter (SAMM) offers understanding and support to families and friends who have been bereaved as a result of murder or manslaughter, through the mutual support of others who have suffered a similar tragedy. ASSIST is a national charity providing support, information and counselling for people experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; who have been the victim of or have witnessed a serious crime; or who are suffering from traumatic bereavement by homicide.
