National Rape Crisis Helpline
The National Rape Crisis Helpline is accessible 365 days a year to women calling from anywhere in England and Wales who have survived any form of sexual violence, no matter how long ago, offering specialised, confidential support, information and referral details completely free of charge. The helpline is also available to provide an immediate source of support to friends and family of survivors, as well as other professionals, to understand how best to support female survivors of sexual violence. Rape Crisis Scotland
Rape Crisis Scotland provides a national rape crisis helpline for anyone affected by sexual violence, no matter when or how it happened. The helpline offers free and confidential crisis support and information. They can also put you in touch with local rape crisis centres or other services for ongoing support. The NEXUS Institute works across Northern Ireland to respond to the needs of survivors of sexual violence aged 16 and over. They offer counselling to victims of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. Contact them by phone or visit the website.

Relate provides relationship and family counselling and relationship support across the UK. Their services include relationship counselling for individuals and couples, family counselling, counselling for children and young people and sex therapy, as well as workshops and training courses.
Calling the helpline will get you through to a trained consultant who can help point you toward the help you need. Please note that there will be a charge if you choose to book online or telephone counselling. Relate operates a cost recovery pricing system, but if costs are prohibitive they will discuss a sliding scale to suit people’s ability to pay.

National Family Mediation
National Family Mediation is the major provider of mediation with over 300 mediators across England and Wales trained in all aspects of family law who are skilled at reducing conflict in separation and divorce. They help people make their own arrangements for property, finance and looking after their children as separated parents. Mediation is quicker and cheaper than going to court.
