Vivien is cross-examined on the stand, as the Midlands medical drama continues. Despite feeling confident at the outset, Vivien eventually feels the pressure of the defence lawyer's questioning, which leaves her feeling utterly humiliated. Ronnie can only look on in horror.

Back at The Mill, Heston calls a staff meeting to discuss the proposed medical trials at the campus. But George is not impressed at all. George recalls PhD student Lucy, whom he helped with a thesis about mass drug-testing.

On contacting Lucy's tutor, George is surprised to hear that the thesis is still not complete. The tutor explains that he is worried about Lucy, who has complained of severe headaches and can't seem to get on with her work.

George visits her and asks for her help in the drugs trials argument with Heston. He also realises that Lucy is addicted to codeine, which explains her headaches. Lucy advises Heston against the drugs trial but he is unmoved and still overrules George.

Vivien is played by Anita Carey, Ronnie by Sean Gleeson, Heston by Owen Brenman and George by Stirling Gallacher.

Rigaud (Andy Serkis) pays Mrs Clennam a visit
Rigaud (Andy Serkis) pays Mrs
Clennam a visit

Rigaud visits Mrs Clennam's house, pretending that he's there on business, as Andrew Davies's adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic continues. Although Rigaud is in no rush to let on that he's in possession of the box containing her secret papers, Flintwinch is quick to realise the truth. Rigaud charms Mrs Clennam and she, little knowing the power he has over her, invites him to come back when he's ready to do business.

After swallowing his disappointment at being rejected by Pet, Arthur also swallows his pride and agrees to be Gowan's best man. He joins Mr and Mrs Meagles in sorrow at the union and reveals his bitter sentiments about the marriage to Amy.

Pancks, meanwhile, has finally finished his investigations and prepares to reveal his incredible discovery to the Dorrits.

Andy Serkis is Rigaud, Judy Parfitt is Mrs Clennam, Alun Armstrong is Flintwinch, Georgia King is Pet Meagles, Matthew Macfadyen is Arthur Clennam, Alex Wyndham is Henry Gowan, Bill Paterson is Mr Meagles, Janine Duvitski is Mrs Meagles, Eddie Marsan is Pancks, Tom Courtenay is William Dorrit and Claire Foy is Amy Dorrit.

BBC THREE Wednesday 19 November 2008
MONEY SEASON
The Last Millionaire
Ep 2/6
Wednesday 19 November
9.00-10.00pm BBC THREE (Schedule change 29 October)

Last week's winners, Jacqueline Doherty and James Watt, are safely back home with their entrepreneurial reputations intact, as series which pitches 12 of Britain's most successful young business people against each other, to see who can create the most profitable businesses in six different cities, continues.

The 10 remaining contestants hit Berlin, and each pair must base their businesses around the theme of "art and performance". They are, once again, completely out of their comfort zones and stripped of all luxury.

Fresh from failing to secure a win in the first week, the 10 remaining entrepreneurs are determined to outwit their opponents. Each with a new partner, they hit the streets of Berlin and prepare to prove themselves.

From Oliver and Oli's outlandish naked bar art, to Lucy and Natalie's singing waiters; and Carl and Nathaniel's showcase of Berlin's up-and-coming musical talent, to Dimple and Lianne's tailor-made workshops for businesses, there is blood, sweat and tears, as each team does all they can to win.

As the week draws to a close and the winners are announced, the remaining eight entrepreneurs can only watch with envy as the most successful pair head back to their glamorous lives. It's now on to Cairo, Egypt, where the group faces another week of hard graft and hostel life, another challenge and another chance to avoid becoming the ultimate loser.

BBC FOUR Wednesday 19 November 2008
Picture Book Ep 3/3
Wednesday 19 November
9.00-10.00pm BBC FOUR

Stories for older children are under the spotlight in the final programme in the series exploring children's fiction. Books can provide an escape from the difficult years of early adolescence and the growing pains of the teens. In these books, text begins to dominate, yet they still rely on strong visual iconography to make sense of a world that is darker and more adult – a place of moral ambiguity where characters have flaws and difficult truths need to be faced.

The page is turned on books ranging from the ultimate adventure story, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, to the contemporary mix of words and pictures found in The Savage by David Almond and Dave McKean. The programme also features a pantheon of classics, including Swallows And Amazons, Ballet Shoes, The Family From One End Street, Lord Of The Rings, Tom's Midnight Garden and Stig Of The Dump.

Picture Book hears from authors Jacqueline Wilson, Philip Pullman and Eion Colfer on the creation of their modern classics of children's literature: Tracy Beaker, Northern Lights and Artemis Fowl. Veteran illustrator Ralph Steadman also contributes.
