Stephen Fry concludes his epic road trip around the USA
Stephen Fry concludes his epic journey through all 50 States by exploring those that touch the Pacific Ocean. Starting in San Francisco's Chinatown, he first meets Jony Ive, Apple's design guru, before crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to join Tom Allmann, the Sheriff of Mendocino. He joins Tom on a drugs bust during which a few thousand marijuana plants are uncovered.
Travelling through the giant redwood forests of Northern California and Oregon, Stephen meets dope-smoking students and arboreal activists who are trying to protect the pristine forests. He also meets a man who's convinced he's met a Bigfoot.
Leaving his trusty London cab in Seattle, Stephen flies to Kodak Island in Alaska, where he witnesses a Russian Orthodox Easter and goes hunting for bowhead whales with a group of Inuits up in the far North in Barrow.
In the far south of the country, on the islands of Hawaii, Stephen learns about the flip side of Waikiki Beach from Terry Pennington, a real-life Magnum PI. He then goes swimming with sharks and enjoys a hula with champion surfer Titus on a spectacular beach on the island of Kauai.
On Big Island, using the world's finest telescope at the Keck Observatory, Stephen witnesses stars exploding, with astrophysicist Alex Filipenko, before a fitting finale on the lava fields that flow into the ocean creating new land, and yet more America.

BBC Two brings highlights from this weekend's action in Liverpool, where the best amateur boxers in Europe were squaring up.
It's the 38th year that the European Championships have been held but the first time they have taken place in England. The Championships – the first major sports event to be held at the new Echo Arena – mark the first big boxing meet since the Beijing Olympics, where Great Britain's boxing team won three medals for the first time in 36 years.

Dan Walker presents highlights from England's clash with Australia, which took place at Twickenham yesterday.
The two teams had not met since England upset their great rivals in the World Cup quarter-finals last year. Jonny Wilkinson was the hero that day, just as he was in that unforgettable World Cup final win in Australia five years ago, but yesterday England will have had to do without their injury-jinxed talisman, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
Martin Johnson, who captained England to their World Cup success, is now managing the side, with the Australia match his first major test. Fellow ex-England captain Lawrence Dallaglio will be giving his verdict in the studio with match commentary from Andrew Cotter and Brian Moore.

Dave Woods presents highlights of the second semi-final in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
This semi should feature Australia, who will be hoping to lift the World Cup for the 10th time next weekend. However, the Kangaroos had the fright of their lives in their last World Cup semi-final in Huddersfield in 2000, when they trailed Wales 20-8 before finally coming through to win 46-22.
Commentary comes from Ray French and former Great Britain coach Brian Noble.

Adrian Chiles presents highlights and reaction from today's two Barclays Premier League games, in which Everton faced Middlesbrough and Hull hosted Manchester City.
Everton have struggled at home this season but today they welcomed 'Boro, who have played more than six hours of football on the Goodison Park pitch since they last found the net.
Today's other game pitted Premier League surprise package Hull against Manchester City, now the richest club in the top flight. Former City star Geovanni, one of Hull's shrewdest signings, will be hoping to play a central role in today's game.
There will also be a round-up of all yesterday's Premier League goals, as well as the popular 2Good 2Bad segment.
