George is taken in by a "spiritual" hippy conman who threatens to sue her after a homeopathic remedy apparently causes a severe allergic reaction, as the drama set in a Midlands health centre continues. She uncovers his scam and the real cause of his reaction – he's been rubbing bleach on his skin.
Daniel is shocked when Kay arrives on Joe's doorstep. Meanwhile, at the Mill, Joe realises he has forgotten his headache pills, and when he calls Daniel, he's furious as Kay answers the phone. He speaks to Daniel and demands he confront Kay about the possible fraud. When Daniel does, Kay admits to forging cheques from her boss' cheque book, before smashing the vase from the auction and walking out.
At the Mill, Daniel comes clean to Joe, who can't believe he has got himself into trouble again. Joe is having one of those days with the work piling up, and when he gets home it becomes too much and he collapses.
Caroline, meanwhile, returns to the Mill to see Nick. She complains that her rash hasn't cleared up, but takes the opportunity to ask him out on a date. He declines, saying he can't date a patient, but she assures him that she is not going to give up.
George is played by Stirling Gallacher, Daniel by Matthew Chambers, Kay by Claire Calbraith, Joe by Stephen Boxer, Caroline by Rae Baker and Nick by Michael McKell.

Factory – From Joy Division To Happy Mondays traces the rise and demise of Factory, the organisation that built three classic bands – Joy Division, New Order and Happy Mondays – and Britain's first "super club", The Hacienda.
From its conception in the late Seventies, Factory became a design and creative phenomenon that fostered the contribution of several seminal British bands, and was credited with helping kick-start the economic regeneration of Manchester.
Led by Tony Wilson (aka Anthony Wilson and Anthony H Wilson), they created a unique collision between conceptual art and street music. This is the story of how a TV presenter (Wilson), an out-of-work actor (Alan Erasmus), an art student (Peter Saville), a DJ (Rob Gretton) and an aspiring record producer (Martin Hannett) pioneered Britain's independent pop culture, imagined a new Manchester, and blew a shed-load of money.
