Cindy wants to turn her life around
At the age of 22, Cindy should be the picture of health, but her body tells a different story, as the series giving young party animals a wake-up call, presented by George Lamb, continues.
Cindy is a single mum and parties when her son is with his dad. She never refuses a drink and often can't recall anything of her 48-hour binges. She smokes up to 300 cigarettes a week. She's increasingly concerned about the effects of her lifestyle and wants to change for the benefit of her son.
Make My Body Younger allows Cindy to see exactly what she has been doing to her body by way of a "living autopsy". State-of-the-art technology shows what has been happening to her internal organs. Cindy and her family and friends are shocked by the results. Binge drinking has taken its toll on her liver, which is almost twice her biological age. Her lungs have also aged prematurely and her heart is 10 years older than it should be.
Dr John Crosby shows Cindy how she can start to reverse the damage. To prescribe the best course of action, he moves in with Cindy to observe, first hand, how this clubbing queen won her crown and whether she has the will-power to turn her life around.
