Daniel (Matthew Chambers) is set an interesting challenge
An old flame of Eva's is transferred to Letherbridge, in today's visit to the Midlands-based health centre. When £50,000 goes missing, however, it becomes clear Eva's ex-lover is guilty. It seems like Eva is tempted by both him and the money but, in fact, she ends up arresting him. Afterwards, she phones Jimmi to tell him she loves him.
Elsewhere, Daniel meets Kay for lunch. They discuss Kay's gambling addiction and how she can get the same kick without building up horrible debts. Daniel challenges her to seduce Archie. Although Archie is tempted, his professionalism kicks in and he fends her off – much to Daniel's amusement. Kay then tells Daniel it's her turn to challenge him.
On a day off, Julia spends some time with Mal. They have a good time and he kisses her, but Julia backs off. Later, however, she turns up at his room and they take things a step further.
Eva is played by Angela Lonsdale, Jimmi by Adrian Lewis Morgan, Daniel by Matthew Chambers, Kay by Clare Calbraith, Archie by Matt Kennard, Marcia by Sheila Ruskin, Julia by Diane Keen and Mal by Ray Fearon.

The lab is surrounded by protesters hurling eggs and threats, as the comedy continues. The Dean is too busy selling the eggs as well as doing a roaring trade in several varieties of Dutch cake to help. And the best thing to be said of Cara's attempt to solve the security problem is that it's slightly less risky or blood-thirsty than either the Prof's or Brian's.
In the meantime, Joan Armatrading is taking part in an anti-Arnolfini Live Aid-style event in the college grounds. Can Alex manage to stop accidentally offending the hordes before they storm the place?
Lab Rats is a big, daft, cartoony sitcom set in a laboratory. The show is less about science and more about using its setting as an excuse for stupid jokes, endearingly chaotic characters and fast-paced, farcical plots.
Lab Rats is written by Chris Addison and Carl Cooper and co-created by Chris Addison, Carl Cooper and Simon Nicholls.
The regular cast includes: Chris Addison as Dr Alex Beenyman, Geoff McGivern as Professor John Mycroft, Jo Enright as Cara McIlvenny, Dan Tetsell as Brian Lalumaca, Selina Cadell as Dean Mieke Miedema and Helen Moon as Minty Clapper.

Karen Taylor tells it like it is this week and brings viewers another comic dose of no-nonsense sketches, featuring The TAO Of Taylor, straight-talking advice for women the world over, and VDTV, where Valerie Denton takes a look at anti-ageing creams.
Tonight's edition of Glamorama takes a "like really, really serious, yeah?" look at the role of women in politics. Karen's weekly challenge also sees her follow in the footsteps of one of the greatest writers of all time – Madonna.
Karen is joined by Anna Crilly (Lead Balloon), Jalaal Hartley (Pulling), Clare Warde (Laura, Ben And Him) and Lawry Levin (The Life And Times Of Vivien Vyle).
