Eva is called in to investigate the death of a famous footballer, supposedly killed in an armed robbery by two intruders, as the drama set in a Midlands health centre continues. When she questions the wife and mother, their stories don't appear to add up. Then she finds out that the gun actually belonged to the footballer.

Eva goes on to discover that it was actually a suicide, but the mother has tried to make it look like a murder because of his religion.

Jimmi, meanwhile, wakes up at Vivien's house but, despite her preparing him a full breakfast, he has to dash off. When he arrives home, Eva wants to know where he's been but he makes an excuse and says he was working late at the campus.

The team continues to dig for truth
The team continues to dig for
truth

Bones thought to belong to 18th- century slaves are discovered in the Bristol Channel, as the team of archaeologists, led by Professor Gillian Magwilde, uncover another compelling mystery.

A ship's bell is also found in the mud flats, linking the bones with the ship The Somerset. Dr Adabankah, a charismatic academic from Ghana, demands that the bones are taken back to their homeland.

Gillian finds there are no records of The Somerset carrying slaves and accounts suggest the ship ended its days in North America, rather than the Bristol Channel. But pages from the ship's ledger were tampered with in the Sixties.

Unexpected results from the bone analysis throw the investigation off on a tangent just as Senator Joy, a black presidential candidate, arrives in Bath from America. Crucial evidence suggests Maroon warriors were on The Somerset, and a link to the American War of Independence surfaces. Danger escalates when Adabankah is murdered, and anyone who gets close to the true story of The Somerset dies.

On a remote island, the true story of the heroic Maroons and their extraordinary connection to George Washington is revealed, but Joy and the team are attacked in a gripping shoot-out, in which loyalties are tested to the limit.

Julie Graham stars as Professor Gillian Magwilde, Hugh Bonneville as Professor Gregory Parton, Adrian Lester as Doctor Ben Ergha, Gugu Mbatha Raw as Viv Davis and Michael Maloney as Professor Daniel Mastiff.

Guest stars in this week's episode include: Eamonn Walker as Senator Joy, William Hope as Preston Lester, Leon Herbert as Dr Abadankah, Doreen Mantle as Mary Cunley, Frances Tomelty as Karen Magwilde, Trevor White as Bobby, Benjamin Whitrow as Mr Carr and Vicky Hall as Nurse Strong.

Olympic Dreams Ep 1/4
Tuesday 15 July
10.35-11.25pm BBC ONE

The Olympic countdown has started and Britain's young hopefuls are dreaming of that elusive gold medal. To be a competitor at the Olympics takes years of hard work and dedication. But behind every Olympian there's years of sacrifice and support put in by the parents. This week, Olympic Dreams looks at what it takes to succeed in the cruel world of elite sport and meets three young athletes to find out what role their parents play in shaping their success.

Fourteen-year-old high-board diving prodigy Thomas Daley, 11-year-old Welsh gymnast Venus Romaeo and 18-year-old judo fighter Ashley McKenzie are all at crucial stages in their careers and have all been tipped to win gold at the London 2012 Olympics. But how much have they and those around them had to sacrifice for their sporting success?

Venus is one of five children in a family hell-bent on sporting success. She is the Welsh National Gymnastics Champion and has been in the British squad for the last three years. Her father is passionate about making sure at least one of his children makes it to the top. Venus is about to take a step up in class as she enters the junior age category and takes on older girls for the first time.

Since starting diving when he was eight, Thomas's father has been central to his rise to success. But this was all put to the test when his dad, Rob, was diagnosed with a brain tumour and he thought he may never see his son achieve his dream. While Rob recovered, Thomas's career went from strength to strength. The programme follows him through the British Nationals as he tries to qualify for the World Championships and the chance to represent Britain at the Beijing Olympics.

Ashley and JR Badrick both come from single-parent families and train at Willesden Judo Club. Ashley and JR both have the talent to win Britain's first-ever gold medal in judo. They try to prove themselves to British Judo coaches at the Bremen Open and earn the chance to join the new elite training programme. For Ashley, who says he knows trouble better than he knows his mum, keeping his focus for the next four years will be a massive challenge.

Olympic Dreams is a co-production between the BBC and The Open University.

THE BEAUTY SEASON
Britain's Missing Top Model
Ep 3/6
Tuesday 15 July
9.00-10.00pm BBC THREE
www.bbc.co.uk/missingmodel

The five remaining would-be models face their toughest challenge of the competition so far as the search for Britain's Missing Top Model continues. This week, the disabled women must become catwalk models, alongside established professionals, presenting the clothes of British designer Tracey Boyd.

The girls are trained by catwalk choreographer Ian Mills, who has worked with the likes of John Paul Gaultier. Ian has just 48 hours to get the girls ready to perform in front of an audience that includes the panel of judges who will scrutinise their every step.

The challenge Ian faces is enormous, but for the girls it is even greater, pushing 23-year-old wheelchair-user Sophie to her emotional limit and taking Jenny to breaking point as she battles with her body, which simply won't do what her brain tells it to.

Each of the girls has a hurdle they must overcome if they are to stay in the competition. With emotions running high, the tensions between them come to the surface.

Tempers also flare amongst the strong-minded judges – following Mark Summers's hard-line approach with one of the girls, Wayne Hemingway threatens to walk away from the competition for good.

Tuesday 15 July
5.00-5.10pm CBEEBIES

It's all aboard the Muffin Express for the feathered friends who inhabit the tree-top community on the corner of 3rd and Bird Street this week, as the new, pre-school animated musical series continues.

Up in the leafy canopy, teacher Mr Beakman, the toucan, is busy building the Sunset Express. Ever eager to lend a helping hand, the younger birds, Samuel Lovebird, Rudy the parakeet and Samuel's younger sister, Muffin, set to work helping him finish the tracks. But poor little Muffin's efforts are a disaster and it is left to cool puffin Quinn to save the day and get everything ready just in time for sunset.

With the train ready to go, the colourful flock is left with a dilemma – none of them fit the driver's seat. Just when they think the Sunset Express will have to be cancelled, they find the perfect candidate to drive the train – Muffin.
