Mark has lived with the guilt of taking an innocent life, as the medical drama set in a health centre in the Midlands continues. Mark has served his time, moved away and changed his name, but a chance encounter at university with the sister of the boy he killed brings back old ghosts.

Daniel and Archie are forced to work together on Mark's case, and both gain an appreciation of each other's skills without admitting as much. But before they start getting on too well, they are soon up to their old ways and end the day on another argument.

Nick and Melody, meanwhile, are supposed to be meeting for their first evaluation, but Melody has to cancel it as she is delayed at a Social Services conference. When she does arrive back, Nick has to leave for his physio appointment. Julia is concerned, but Nick insists its purely bad timing.

After work, Michelle, Ruth and Davey go for their drink and Davey continuously flirts with Michelle in front of Ruth. Michelle criticises his behaviour and goes, leaving Davey astonished.

Mark is played by guest star Christopher Coghill, Daniel by Matthew Chambers, Archie by Matt Kennard, Nick by Michael McKell, Melody by Elizabeth Bower, Julia by Diane Keen, Michelle by Donnaleigh Bailey, Ruth by Selina Chilton and Davey by Gavin Bell.

Lucy and Jake arrive at the scene of a burglary to find a branch manager lying unconscious after being shot, as Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama continues. Next to him is his traumatised colleague, Stella. CID is soon on the scene and quick to conclude it's an inside job. It's now up to the team to figure out which member of staff was involved and which violent criminal they're associated with.

After a spate of burglaries on the local estate, Neil and Kelly are on patrol in an attempt to reassure local residents that the latest crime spree is being taken seriously. During their patrol, a clearly worried Kelly confesses to her partner that her husband, Roger, stayed out all night. Still in love with his colleague, Neil is quick to ask if she suspects there is another woman involved, an accusation Kelly quickly denies.

Whilst on the estate, the duo are distracted by a confused old man called Clarence. After some detective work, they are able to hand him over to his next of kin. Later in the day, Neil and Kelly rush back to the estate when another burglary is reported. This time, though, the intruder is still lurking inside the property, and is a familiar face to the concerned PCs.

Elsewhere, following the birth of their first child, Luke and Mandy's marriage is going from strength to strength. Having noticed Luke's natural talent with the fairer sex, John asks his colleague for some tips to help win over his wife, Kate. Just as Luke thinks life couldn't get any better, however, he receives some devastating news that will change his life for ever...

PC Lucy Slater is played by Elaine Glover, PC Jake Loughton by James Thornton, Stella by Claire Hackett, PC Neil Parker by Jimmy Akingbola, PC Kelly Cooper by Chloe Howman, Roger by Christopher Coghill, Clarence by Peter Vaughan, DS Luke French by Richard Harrington, Mandy by Stephanie Langton, DCI John Keenan by Cal MacAninch and Kate Keenan by Zoe Lucker.

Grace (Emily Head) shocks her
parents, Maurice (Anthony
Head) and Barbara (Jenny
Agutter)

Grace drops a bombshell on her parents when she tells them she's taking a year off university to go to New York with her boyfriend, Lee, and work as a burlesque dancer... or stripper, as her father, Maurice, calls it, as the action-packed comedy drama series by William Ivory continues.

Maurice goes into protective father mode and endeavours to learn everything he can about the boyfriend before she goes, which involves breaking into his flat. However, he is stopped in his tracks by a spooked Grace, who whacks him round the head with a frying pan. When Grace later sees her dad with a cut head, and acting strangely under interrogation, her suspicions go into overdrive.

Meanwhile, Maurice has other issues at hand. The famous safe-maker, Gerard Wilson, has died. The one safe that Maurice failed to crack was made by Gerard. Now, with Gerard out of the picture, Maurice is adamant that the gang will find the safe and crack it. Hedley and Syd, however, are less than keen – they believe the safe is cursed. But Maurice is the boss and what he says goes, so the boys go about hunting down the safe and planning the job.

Grace, in her search for truth, confronts Syd and questions him about her father's past. Syd's nervous procrastination further fuels her suspicions. Barbara isn't much better under duress and finally Grace decides it's time to face her father head on. She steals Syd's notebook and follows them to the lock-up where the safe is being stored. There, she finds her dad, who she believed worked in a bank, about to crack a safe...

Emily Head is Grace, Marc Elliott is Grace's boyfriend, Lee, Anthony Head is Maurice, Dean Lennox Kelly is Hedley, Warren Clarke is Syd and Jenny Agutter is Barbara.

Bec witnesses Daniel causing a disturbance and assaulting a couple of patrol police officers, in today's edition of the Australian drama series set in a beach resort. Once at the station, DS Wilson twigs that Daniel's provocation is an attempt to get his hands on Addo – who is being held at the station after confessing to murdering Philby. Wilson later charges and releases Daniel.

Wilson proposes a lie detector test to Stavva as a way to prove his innocence. Stavva passes the test with flying colours but his elation is short-lived as he realises the police are honing in on Addo.

Deborah, meanwhile, offers Pia her apologies over the accident. Pia rejects the apology and confronts Deborah over Daniel – accusing her of directly, or indirectly, being the cause of Pia's accident.

Elsewhere, Jarrod refrains from confiding his frustrations to Tracy and the gap between husband and wife broadens once more. Oblivious to Stephen's true identity, Tracy seeks professional counselling and begins therapy with Dr Mulroney.

Bec is played by Renai Caruso, Daniel by Aidan Gillet, DS Wilson by Shane Withington, Addo by Daniel Henshall, Stavva by Ryan Johnson, Deborah by Diane Craig, Pia by Zoe Carides, Jarrod by Clayton Watson, Tracy by Charlotte Gregg and Stephen by John Atkinson.

Please note: this episode was originally scheduled for Wednesday 21 May.

Gary Lineker presents live coverage from the opening day of the 2008 PGA Championship at Wentworth, the flagship event of the European Tour.

Some of the world's top golfers will be heading for the West Course hoping to land one of European golf's biggest tournaments and join a roll of honour that includes Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Tony Jacklin and Arnold Palmer. Just as he did in last month's Masters, Justin Rose held a share of the lead after the opening day at Wentworth last year. But the Briton ended up losing out to Dane Anders Hansen in a sudden death play-off on the final day.
