Matt Roberts presents live coverage from Shanghai as the MotoGP season reaches its fourth round.

Reigning champion Casey Stoner took victory in China last year, meaning he had won three of the first four races, but the young Australian has found it harder going so far this season.

Valentino Rossi was initially critical of the spectacular and state-of-the-art Shanghai International Circuit, but it didn't prevent him from triumphing in the inaugural race in 2005 and the charismatic Italian will be keen to be back on top of the podium after being edged into second place by Stoner last year.

British fans will be monitoring the progress of James Toseland, who has made an impressive start to his first season in MotoGP after stepping up from World Superbikes.

Match Of The Day 2
Sunday 4 May
10.20-11.10pm BBC ONE
www.bbc.co.uk/sport

Adrian Chiles presents highlights from today's two Barclays Premier League matches.

Arsenal were looking to continue their good recent run against Everton. The Gunners have won 11 of their last 12 home fixtures against the Toffees, including a 7-0 pounding three seasons ago. Arsenal also dished out a 4-1 defeat to David Moyes's side when they visited Goodison Park in December.

After their involvement in the midweek UEFA Champions League semi-finals, Liverpool return to domestic action against Manchester City. City manager Sven-Göran Eriksson will have happy memories of his last visit to Anfield, when his England team beat Uruguay 2-1 in an international friendly in 2006. But City have lost on their last four visits, with Steven Gerrard's swerving shot proving the difference when Liverpool won 1-0 in last season's corresponding fixture.

There will also be a chance to see all the goals and reaction from yesterday's Premier League matches, plus a look at the lighter side of football in 2Good/2Bad.

Viewers can see highlights from this weekend's crucial Guinness Premiership clash between Bath and Saracens at the Recreation Ground.

It's the penultimate round of the regular season, which means play-off places will be on the agenda. Former South Africa full-back Brent Russell played a starring role when Saracens beat Bath 26-20 at Vicarage Road earlier this season. Sarries will be looking to make it a double, but how much will last weekend's Heineken Cup semi-final against Munster have taken out of them?

Horse Trials

Clare Balding presents highlights of yesterday's cross-country and live coverage of today's show-jumping as this year's Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials reach their conclusion.

Badminton, which is the most prestigious occasion in the three-day eventing calendar, was first held in 1949 as a way of helping British riders prepare for the Olympics and, with the Beijing Games now fewer than 100 days away, many competitors will be looking for an eye-catching performance which could earn them a place in the British team.

Zara Phillips is Britain's most high-profile eventer and the former world champion competed in her first Badminton last year. It proved a frustrating experience for her and many of her fellow riders as firm ground on the cross-country course caused a host of withdrawals. Organisers have since carried out a £100,000 makeover on the course to avoid a repeat of that scenario.

As well as Phillips, this year's field will also include several former winners, including Pippa Funnell, William Fox-Pitt, Mary King and Andrew Hoy.

The relationship between Don
(Jon Hamm) and Rachel
(Maggie Siff) is changing tack

Don loses an account – and therefore his temper – in front of Pete, the messenger, as Matt Weiner's hit US drama continues to take an unflinching look at the world of Sixties advertising in New York.

"The day you sign a client is the day you start losing them," Roger says, echoing Don's sentiments.

A group of models – all sets of twins – arrives for a casting and attracts the attention of the other ad men. But, when Roger suggests that he, Don and the successful pair celebrate in his office, there is a shocking outcome.

Joan and her room-mate, Carol, plan to spend the weekend on the lookout for bachelors, after Carol experiences some trouble at work. Carol, however, has a confession for Joan. Meanwhile, Don's relationship with Rachel Menken is changing tack.

Don is played by Jon Hamm, Pete by Vincent Kartheiser, Roger by John Slattery, Joan by Christina Hendricks and Rachel by Maggie Siff.
