The reunion turns from triumph to tragedy as one of the gang's own is found dead at sea, as the sun-soaked drama series set in an Australian beach resort continues.

Having made a narrow escape from the blazing
Stavva-mobile and his pursuers, Addo arrives at the school reunion late, shaken and desperate to avoid upsetting Stavva with the news about his beloved car. But Stavva finds out anyway and searches out Addo for answers.

Stavva decides to spike Philby's new non-drinking policy in order to get him into the party spirit. Philby discovers Stavva's antics and, enraged, challenges him on it. The reunion then heats up as Daniel and his entourage make an unwelcome guest appearance, leading to a near head-on collision between the two duelling brothers.

Bec announces to the group that she wants a new life with her old friends and is returning from south of the border to live once more in Manly.

The following morning a drunken Stavva finds a very
hung-over Gabby asleep on the beach. As they watch the sun rising on a new day they spot a group of onlookers at the water's edge – a dead body is floating on the sea. It's the body of one of the gang – one of their best friends – who was with them just last night...

Addo is played by Daniel Henshall, Stavva by Ryan Johnson, Philby by Dylan Landre, Daniel by Aidan Gillett, Bec by Renai Caruso and Gabby by Sophie Katinis.

BBC TWO Tuesday 29 April 2008
Age Of Terror – The Paris Plot Ep 3/4
Tuesday 29 April
9.00-10.00pm BBC TWO
www.bbc.co.uk/ageofterror

Award-winning journalist Peter Taylor moves forward to Christmas Eve 1994 as his series profiling four landmark terrorist attacks from the past 30 years continues.

As an Air France plane prepares to leave Algiers airport, four uniformed men enter the plane to check passports. But they are not Algerian officials; they are members of the GIA, a notoriously ruthless Islamist extremist group who have been slaughtering politicians, policemen and civilians in a brutal civil war that has engulfed Algeria.

The hijackers demand to be allowed to leave immediately for Paris. The Algerian authorities play for time. The French government's request for permission to intervene is denied. Two days later, and only after the execution of three passengers, the Algerian authorities allow the flight to take off.

Forced to stop to refuel in Marseille, the terrorists demand
27 tonnes of fuel to fly on to Paris. By now, the French authorities have intelligence that the hijackers have no intention of landing in the French capital. Instead, in a terrifying prototype of 9/11, they are planning to use the plane as a missile and crash it into the heart of Paris.

The crisis is resolved when an elite unit of French commandos raids the plane. All the terrorists are killed and, miraculously, all of the remaining hostages survive.

A new combustible form of terror had arrived: the power struggle within one country combined with a new strain of Islamist extremism. The result is a commitment to a spectacular war on the non-believer, a war that makes no distinction between guilty and innocent, combatant and civilian.

This terror was being exported to the territory of the enemy, from Algeria to France. But the sacred war, or jihad, was about to intensify. Harnessed by al-Qaeda, it was about to spread in all directions across the globe.

BBC THREE Tuesday 29 April 2008
Blood, Sweat And T-Shirts Ep 2/4
Tuesday 29 April
9.00-10.00pm BBC THREE
www.bbc.co.uk/thread

Having cracked the basics of a sewing machine, this week the intrepid sextet who are swapping fashion shopping in the British High Street for actually making the clothes in the factories and backstreet workshops of India, start work at Stylecraft, an export company in the suburbs of western Delhi.

Manager Mr Aurore has just received an order for 2,000 blouses from a British company and the team is going to be living and working alongside the local staff. Here, in a backstreet workshop, they must stitch the blouses from start to finish, working 15 hours a day and literally sleeping by their machines. And their inexperience will not gain them any leniency – they are to create 36 blouses between them in the three days they are in the workshop. Their local counterparts turn out 20 a day each – for just 20 rupees (25p) a garment.

Richard, in particular, is struggling with his surroundings as all his perceptions about poverty are challenged. Having grown up on a council estate in Peterborough, Richard has always believed that hard work and determination will inevitably be a route to a better life. Talking to his Indian co-workers, he discovers the harsh reality that life isn't always that straightforward. His forthright views and strong outbursts put him at odds with the rest of the team. Can he hack it, or is it time to go home?

But if they think a backstreet workshop in Delhi is hard, nothing will prepare the Brits for life in rural India, picking cotton. After one blissful night in a hotel, where hot water and comfy beds are the ultimate luxury, they set off on a 300-mile journey to Hariana, alongside the 1,000 other migrant workers who flock to the harvest each year. Next stop, the cotton fields and the most physically challenging job in the fashion industry.

BBC FOCUS ON CHINA
Chinese School – Olympic Fever Ep 4/5

Tuesday 29 April
9.00-10.00pm BBC FOUR

China's first Olympic games are on the horizon for the rural Chinese schools featuring in this observational documentary series.

Xiuning county may be 1,000km from Beijing, but that hasn't stopped Olympic fever reaching its schools. It's autumn and, with the heat of summer and exams behind them, it's time for the students to hit the sports field.

With 3,400 students, Haiyang Middle School is the largest school in the county. School radio DJ Zha Yujie has Western tastes, being a huge fan of Lewis Hamilton and JK Rowling. On sports day she has to keep her cool to announce the teams and results. It's almost as exciting for her as the forthcoming publication in Mandarin of the latest Harry Potter book.

At Ping Min primary school they're holding their first sports day ever. Young champion Dai Deli is the fastest runner in school and determined to take gold at any cost.

This is the fourth programme in a revelatory five-part documentary series following a year in three schools in the county of Xiuning in Anhui Province, China.

Focus On China is a pan-BBC collection of factual programmes examining China in its Olympics year. The programmes, broadcast across radio and television, cover a range of factual topics: wildlife; food; pop and classical music; sex; politics; dance; current affairs; education; Chinese history and contemporary lifestyles.

In May, the BBC launches its Focus On China website pulling together all the BBC's formidable expertise, knowledge and archive on China.

Chinese School is a co-production between the BBC and The Open University.
