Rugby League – Challenge Cup
Sunday 20 April
5.15-7.30pm BBC TWO
www.bbc.co.uk/sport

Clare Balding is at the Willows for live coverage of
Salford v Wakefield in the fourth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.

Rugby League's most prestigious club competition dates back well over 100 years and the fourth round is the traditional entry point of the big guns of the game. engage Super League side Wakefield face a tricky visit to Salford, who were relegated from the top flight last year. Wakefield have not won the tournament since 1963, but Trinity coach John Kear has tasted Challenge Cup glory with both Sheffield and Hull. Salford's sole success was exactly 70 years ago when they beat Barrow 7-4 at the old Wembley Stadium.

Which of the teams playing today will be taking a first step to a final at the new Wembley in August?

Match Of The Day 2
Sunday 20 April
10.20-11.20pm BBC ONE (moved from BBC TWO)
www.bbc.co.uk/sport

Adrian Chiles presents all the goals and highlights from today's three Barclays Premier League fixtures – two of which were local derbies.

Newcastle hosted Sunderland at St James's Park, giving Kevin Keegan his first taste of the north-east derby since returning to take charge of the Magpies for a second time. West Midlands neighbours Aston Villa and Birmingham renewed their fierce rivalry at Villa Park. The claret and blue side of the second city has enjoyed the upper hand recently, winning the last three meetings, and this season's form so far suggested that run would be extended.

Manchester City, meanwhile, hosted Portsmouth in a match which could have repercussions for both sides' hopes of playing in Europe next season.

There is also a chance to see all the goals and reaction from yesterday's seven Premier League games, and there is the regular look at the funnier side of football in 2Good/2Bad.
