Rugby League – Four Nations

Saturday 29 October
2.00-4.30pm BBC ONE

Clare Balding is at the Leigh Sports Village as England meet debutants Wales on the opening weekend of the Four Nations tournament.

This is the third year since the expansion of the Tri-Nations series, and Wales will look to avoid going the same way as France and Papua New Guinea, who suffered heavy defeats when given their chance against England, Australia and New Zealand.

Wales secured their place as the 2010 European Cup winners but a victory over 2013 World Cup co-hosts England would rank as the greatest achievement in the country's rugby league history.

There are also highlights of Friday's opening match between last season's finalists, Australia and New Zealand.
