Elsewhere, Kat receives a phone call that sends her into a panic and Tyler tries to plan the perfect night with Whitney, but old memories come back to haunt her.

Elizabeth returns from compassionate leave only to receive some unexpected news about her family. After becoming unintentionally involved in a patient's life choice, Elizabeth's inspired to make a big decision regarding her own future.

Chrissie is determined to prove herself to Eddi who's responsible for signing off her nurse practitioner management module. However, her recent engagement means that her personal life is beginning to interfere in her professional one. Which will she prioritise?

The team are called to look at the death of Ray Quinn, who was killed in what looks like a robbery at a classic car garage, as the forensic crime drama starring Tara Fitzgerald and Keith Allen continues.

The owners, Mick and Martin Flannery, are keen to clear the scene so that they can open for business again, but after an initial investigation, Eve is convinced that there is more to the case than a robbery gone wrong.

Hale visits Ray's home. Ray is from a travelling community who are very suspicious of the police and refuse to tell Hale anything – they say they will deal with Ray's death themselves.

Eve and Hale later discover that a young girl, Amanda, is also missing and possibly in danger. Eve must earn the trust of Ray's family by showing them that she is a scientist and only motivated by finding justice for Ray. If they pursue their own justice then the truth about what happened may remain hidden for ever.

Tara Fitzgerald plays Dr Eve Lockhart; Keith Allen plays DI Hale; Mark Bazeley plays Mike; Wunmi Mosaku plays Rosa; and Finlay Robertson plays Oggy.

Tonight, Jools Holland welcomes Feist back to the studio. The Canadian singer-songwriter first appeared on the 200th show in February 2008 and returns to showcase songs from her brand new Metals album.

Also returning to the show is Justin Vernon, aka Bon Iver, who has been working with both Kanye West and James Blake since his debut on the show in 2010. He released his self-titled second album earlier this year – the follow-up to For Emma, Forever Ago – from which he performs a couple of tracks.

Jools introduces legendary jazz pianist Buddy Greco, who worked with Sinatra and Benny Goodman and has a recording career spanning more than 60 years. From Atlanta, Georgia comes the awesome psychedelic metal power of Mastodon who perform tunes from their fifth album, The Hunter.
