Rugby Union – Scotland v Ireland

Live event/outside broadcast
Saturday 6 August
2.00-4.15pm BBC TWO

Live coverage of the World Cup warm-up match between Scotland and Ireland comes from Murrayfield. Ireland won this fixture 21-18 in this year's Six Nations although, in truth, Ireland's victory should have been a lot more comfortable. Having ended their campaign on a high by denying England the Grand Slam, Declan Kidney's side will be keen to reproduce that form ahead of the World Cup.

Scotland are more than capable of upsetting the form book having beaten World Champions South Africa at Murrayfield less than a year ago.
