Lulu concludes her week-long series of programmes on BBC One Daytime taking a look back at the huge social change, creative innovation and historic importance that made the Swinging Sixties one of the most significant decades in history. Today, she takes a look back at 1968 and 1969.
Former newsman and Countryfile presenter John Craven joins Lulu in the studio to look back at some of the issues that faced the public towards the end of the decade, a time when John was a young reporter starting out in the North East.
The late Sixties also saw the introduction of the Abortion Act – legislation that would change the lives of thousands of young women. The programme hears an emotional story from one lady who welcomed the new law.
The late Sixties also saw the dream of space travel becoming a reality. Millions watched the moon landings and, for some children, the wonder they experienced that night shaped their whole lives.
Lulu talks to Oliver Tobias, who starred in the first production of Hair, a controversial West End musical which opened after the censorship laws that had kept the theatre prim and proper were radically reformed.
Antiques expert Charlie Ross investigates the toys that were popular in 1968 and 1969, many of which have stood the test of time, and Lulu recalls the amazing TV and music from the decade.

Wales come face to face with Fiji for the first time since the Pacific Islanders sensationally knocked them out of the World Cup in 2007. That humbling 34-38 defeat cost coach Gareth Jenkins his job and brought to an end Wales' 100 per cent record against the Fijians.
The Welsh have struggled to find their best form this year, winning only two matches in the Six Nations and losing all three of their summer internationals.
