Sandi Toksvig and Eric Knowles step up their quest to find the Antiques Master

Antiques Master pits the country's leading amateur antiques enthusiasts against each other as they battle through a series of challenges in a bid to be crowned the first ever Antiques Master.

In search of Britain's Antiques Master is host Sandi Toksvig and on hand with the key facts and figures is Antiques Roadshow expert Eric Knowles.

Antiques Master has scoured the country's leading museums, antique shops and private collections to provide unparalleled access to the best and most varied artefacts ever seen on British television.

Following eight demanding heats from Towneley Hall in Burnley, four final contestants are through to the last semi-final. Ben from Stockport, Sue from Merseyside, Chris from Cornwall and Shona from London step up to compete in four challenging rounds as they battle it out to prove that they have the knowledge to secure a place in the final.

Among other artefacts, tonight's show features a very unusual and macabre gavel for a slave auction and a rare Burslem Holbein bulbous vase by Doulton. Contestants will have to use all their experience and in-depth knowledge to beat their opponents.

The show climaxes in a head-to-head, quick-fire question round to decide which contestant will go through to the final and ultimately conclude the search for Britain's best antiques enthusiast to take the title of Antiques Master.

Big City Park

Bank Holiday Monday 30 August to Friday 3 September
9.00-9.15am CBEEBIES

May the friendly park keeper, Ruairi the mischievous caretaker, Dara the streetwise fox and Billy the excitable Badger continue to help young children discover the joy of the great outdoors in Big City Park.

Filmed on location in Belfast's beautiful and bustling Ormeau Park, Big City Park is about the adventure of finding nature's hidden treasures. In each episode, a group of enthusiastic explorers is welcomed to the park to let their imaginations run wild as they explore their surroundings, gathering the park's natural bounty for Ruairi's treasure chest.

On Monday, the Big City Park friends learn all about how things grow, as May explains about the wonderful flowers and healthy fruit and vegetables that can be grown from seeds.

May's holiday is cancelled on Tuesday, so the gang set about bringing the holiday to Big City Park. With deckchairs, smoothies and boat-sailing adventures, May has a great holiday without even leaving home!

On Wednesday, creepy-crawlies take centre stage as the friends go in search of insects – including spiders and ladybirds.

There's a big wind on Thursday and, as the friends go in search of Ruairi's missing favourite hat, May explains what happens to things when the wind gets up.

And, on Friday, Ruairi plays a trick on the friends to disprove Dara's claim that you can never "outfox a fox".
