Jordan faces a moral dilemma as the source behind the cryptococcsis outbreak is revealed, and security is paramount as a dangerous Class-A prisoner is blue-lighted into the Emergency Department, in tonight's episode of Casualty – The Lesser Good.
Jordan prepares to report Robert's involvement in the drug trial which caused the cryptococcsis outbreak but has second thoughts when he realises it could jeopardise the JAFA fellowship and Holby City's Centre of Excellence, which he has worked so hard to establish. He decides to keep it quiet for now, but eager Lenny is still determined to discover exactly who is behind the deaths.
Meanwhile, Class-A prisoner Jackson has been stabbed in prison. Polly and Jeff blue-light him to the ED, accompanied by retiring prison guard Royson, while idealistic young guard Arun travels by car. When Arun's car collides with a lorry, Royson suspects an escape attempt and insists that Jeff attends to Jackson while he drives the ambulance and Polly stays behind with the severely injured young guard.
Jordan reminds the team of the procedure for dealing with Class-A prisoners, including not engaging in conversation or revealing Jackson's identity, but the team find out that Jackson has been convicted for murdering his entire family, including a baby. As Adam treats Jackson, the prisoner plays a game of psychological cat and mouse. Can Adam keep his cool and work out the mystery behind Jackson's injury? And can it in some way help him come to terms with his own loss?
Reflecting on his earlier conversation with Robert, Jordan scours the drug trial notes to try to work out which patients received the dangerous drug and which received the placebo. But when Jordan discovers that not even Robert knows which patients received which, he makes the startling realisation that one of the Holby ED team could be in mortal danger...
Michael French plays Jordan, Steven Miller plays Lenny, Maurice Roëves plays Jackson, Sophia di Martino plays Polly, Matt Bardock plays Jeff, Philip Jackson plays Royson, Ameet Chana plays Arun and Tristan Gemmill plays Adam.

Colin Murray presents highlights of today's encounter between Ghana and Australia in Group D and two matches from Group E as the Netherlands faced Japan and Cameroon played Denmark.
Africa Cup of Nations finalists Ghana, making only their second appearance at a World Cup finals, have a young squad while opponents Australia are well drilled by coach Pim Verbeek, whose squad is packed full of players who appeared in the last finals in Germany four years ago.
Cameroon's clash with Denmark could go a long way to deciding who finishes second in Group E. The Africans rely on the formidable presence of Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o, but the Danes are well marshalled at the back by Simon Kjaer and Liverpool's Daniel Agger.
The Netherlands' star-studded squad will provide formidable opposition for a Japanese team looking to progress from the group stage of a World Cup for only the second time. The Netherlands lost in two consecutive finals in 1974 and 1978 but are optimistic about their chances of lifting the trophy this year, given their plethora of attacking options up front.

BBC Three viewers can enjoy a full screening of Japan's clash with the Netherlands, played in Durban earlier today.
Japan's coach Takeshi Okada has set his side the target of reaching the semi-finals, but that seems an unrealistic target with Group E looking tricky to negotiate. History is not on their side as Japan have only managed to get out of the group stage once in four previous attempts.
The Japanese will certainly have their hands full today dealing with a Netherlands squad blessed with a glittering array of goal-scoring talent. Coach Bert van Marwijk has the luxury of selecting from the likes of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder to score the goals he hopes will help the Oranje lift the World Cup trophy for the first time.
