Jake Humphrey brings viewers all the live action from the Singapore Grand Prix

Jake Humphrey presents live coverage of the Singapore Grand Prix, the 14th of 17 races in this year's Formula 1 Championship.

Singapore hosted the first-ever night race last year and it was judged a huge success. Renault's Fernando Alonso would certainly agree with that, having scored his first win of the season on the Marina Bay circuit. As usual, Jake will be joined by F1 experts Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard, who was seventh in last year's Singapore race.

Waking The Dead – Endgame: Part One Ep 4/4

Sunday 27 September
9.00-10.00pm BBC ONE

Boyd receives a horrific message from his old adversary, sociopathic killer Linda Cummings, in the first episode of the two-part series finale of the cold case police drama. Boyd had Linda committed to Padworth Psychiatric Hospital in the last series, and her message arrives in the form of a package containing a severed finger with an engagement ring on it. There is also a note asking: "Who killed Sandra White?"

The team discovers that Sandra was released from Padworth two years ago, never to be heard of again. This is not the only suspicious event at the hospital as a member of staff, Dr McCarthy, was found dead in his office a year ago.

Grace is uneasy about Boyd taking on the investigation but personal commitments force her to hand over her involvement in the case to Jackie Cochran, an eminent criminal psychologist, who has widely researched Linda's case.

The team discovers that Dr McCarthy was murdered. Meanwhile, Linda plays her usual mind games with Boyd. However, she does lead the team to Ellen, who witnessed something unusual the night Sandra disappeared.

Later, Eve finds a body with a missing finger, buried in the hospital's grounds.

As Boyd becomes increasingly frustrated with the case, he endeavours to contact Grace. After numerous failed attempts to call her, Eve reveals that Grace is in hospital and has cancer. Boyd rushes to her bedside but it transpires Grace is in more danger than the team could ever imagine.

Trevor Eve plays DSI Peter Boyd, Sue Johnston plays Dr Grace Foley, Tara FitzGerald plays Dr Eve Lockhart, Wil Johnson plays DI Spencer Jordan and Stacey Roca plays DS Katrina Howard. Guest stars in this episode include Gina McKee as Jackie Cochran, Ruth Gemmell as Linda Cummings and Alexander Siddig as Dr Mohammed.

The concluding part of Waking The Dead – Endgame can be seen tomorrow.

The hilly 163-mile course should suit Wiggins, and his hopes will have been further increased by the news that Tour de France winner Alberto Contador will not be riding for the Italian team.

Last Chance To See – Komodo Dragon Ep 4/6

Sunday 27 September
8.00-9.00pm BBC TWO

Stephen Fry continues his search for endangered species with a trip to an area labelled on ancient maps with "here be dragons". And although they don't actually breathe fire, the foul-mouth odour and the toxic bite they do possess make the komodo dragon that Stephen and zoologist Mark Carwardine are seeking in Indonesia a pretty dangerous beast to deal with.

The redoubtable pair are nevertheless up for an encounter, even taking part in a conservation scheme that aims to try to tag the animals to produce a proper census. They are not the prettiest of species – Stephen says they are "as ugly as sin" – but he does acknowledge that "the very komodo dragonness of them is so complete".

Tipping the scales on behalf of the cute camp are dozens of turtle hatchlings, which Mark and Stephen help release back into the wild, and a series of ocean creatures including the seahorse. But they both find there is a huge mountain to climb in terms of stopping the trade in such animals, which are often used in Chinese medicine. Mark notes that the sharks on sale in the market, which were caught for shark's fin soup, are all small ones – a sign that all the larger ones may already be gone...

Harper's Island – Thrack, Splat, Sizzle Ep 7/13

High Definition programme
Sunday 27 September
9.00-9.40pm BBC THREE

Sheriff Mills still believes JD could be behind the murders, particularly when he finds Uncle Marty's mobile phone at the Candlewick Inn among JD's belongings, as the American drama continues. Henry joins the Sheriff's search party tracking JD and recounts how tormented his brother has been.

Back at her father's house, Abby is surprised when she discovers the identity of the disfigured mystery man from the woods: he is Cole Harken, her dad's former deputy. Cole says JD is innocent and that her father has not told Abby the truth about John Wakefield. She recalls seeing an injured Cole on the boat dock on the day her mother was murdered – a massive explosion had been engineered by Wakefield as a distraction while he abducted and killed his victims.

Abby confronts her father, who explains that her mother dated Wakefield in Seattle but ended their relationship. When Wakefield tracked her down to the Island, Mills had his deputies provoke the man into violence, resulting in a long jail sentence. Having served 17 years, Wakefield returned to Harper's Island and went on his killing spree.

Elsewhere, Sully and Danny jokingly accuse Malcolm of stealing Muffin, the blow-up doll, and search his bag. They are shocked, though, when they find the money from the boat: the cash Booth supposedly disappeared with. Malcolm confesses and later, racked with guilt and grief, heads down to the hotel's incinerator. As he throws the money into the fire, Malcolm realises he is not alone down there.

Meanwhile, Madison receives a note she believes is from her father and goes to meet him. As she enters the room, the door slams behind her...

Sheriff Mills is played by Jim Beaver, JD by Dean Chekvala, Henry by Christopher Gorham, Abby is played by Elaine Cassidy, Sully by Matt Barr, Danny by Brandon Jay McLaren, Malcolm by Chris Gauthier and Madison by Cassandra Sawtell.

Harper's Island is simulcast on the BBC HD channel – the BBC's High Definition channel, available through Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media.

The next episode can be seen straight after this one.

Harper's Island – Gurgle Ep 8/13

High Definition programme
Sunday 27 September
9.40-10.25pm BBC THREE

In the wake of the murders, everyone is being evacuated to the marina for the last ferry off the Island, as the American murder-mystery drama continues.

Abby receives a call from Madison, telling her that if anyone leaves the Island then Madison's captor will kill her. Back at the Candlewick, neither cell phones nor landlines are working and the power goes out. Danny and Henry attempt to start the emergency generator but fear it may be booby-trapped.

Sheriff Mills questions JD about the murders and Cole Harken. JD tells the Sheriff where Cole lives. On his way to the cabin, the Sheriff triggers a trap, releasing a wooden spike that punctures his leg. He falls and loses consciousness.

In the Island's lock-up a deputy is yelling at JD and Shane to stop arguing. The lights go out and shots are heard. When the lights come back on, JD and Shane see the deputy lying dead on the floor. Snagging the keys, JD escapes, leaving Shane behind.

The Sheriff awakes injured and feverish in Cole's cabin. He gives the Sheriff Wakefield's prison journal and tells him that Wakefield has come back for Abby and that she must leave the Island. Harken heads out to get help but someone lurking in the woods has other ideas...

Jimmy and Abby arrive at the cabin in time to save the Sheriff. He begs Jimmy to take Abby off the Island but she refuses to leave. Sully shows up and tells them that JD escaped and is somewhere on the marina. They split up, and Abby discovers a mortally wounded JD...

Abby is played by Elaine Cassidy, Madison by Cassandra Sawtell, Danny by Brandon Jay McLaren, Henry by Christopher Gorham, Sheriff Mills by Jim Beaver, JD by Dean Chekvala, Shane by Ben Cotton, Jimmy by CJ Thomson and Sully by Matt Barr.
