Shoo (Christine Bottomley) regrets trying to rekindle her romance with Nathan

Their millions burnt to a cinder following the mysterious fire, Ellie, Hannah, Shoo and Josie face the harsh reality that their Barbados dream is all but over, as BBC One's quirky Sunday night drama continues.

Sadie is out of hospital and her daughter, Ann Marie, wants to put her into a home but she's having none of it – she insists she'd rather be the sitting tenant in the Hope Springs Hotel. But the girls aren't exactly welcoming towards Sadie, convinced she's responsible for their financial strife.

Taking money matters into their own hands, Shoo and Josie decide to rob the local bookies. Before they can put their ill-conceived plan into action, Gil arrives. When Josie sees Gil lead Shoo out of the bookies, she assumes her friend is under arrest and calls Ellie – who's furious that Shoo has needlessly drawn attention to the gang.

Broke and desperate, the women's only option is to rob Sadie of the thousands they paid for the hotel but, feeling decidedly unwelcome, Sadie sets her sights on buying a luxury new flat. The girls need to stop Sadie before she discovers her money is missing.

Following the bungled robbery at the bookies, a rift grows between the girls and Shoo decides to take her cut of the money and run, but Josie and Hannah aren't quite so keen to leave Hope Springs and Ellie behind.

Elsewhere, Ann Marie and Euan meet to discuss a secret venture but it is clear there's more to their relationship than just business.

Leaving Hope Springs behind, meanwhile, Shoo uses a borrowed mobile phone to call her ex-boyfriend, drugs dealer Nathan Donovan. She arranges to meet Nathan in Glasgow to rekindle their romance but, after she discovers his plans to rob her, she makes a hasty return to Hope Springs.

An ex-boyfriend with a sore head is a dangerous thing and, unbeknown to the women, Nathan is about to give vengeful hitman Marius the lead on the girls he's been waiting for.

Ellie is played by Alex Kingston, Hannah by Sian Reeves, Shoo by Christine Bottomley, Josie by Vinette Robinson, Sadie by Annette Crosbie, Ann Marie by Ronni Ancona, Gil by Paul Higgins, Euan by Alec Newman, Nathan Donovan by Oliver Gomm and Marius by Clint Dyer.

Hope Springs is simulcast on the BBC HD channel – the BBC's High Definition channel available through Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media.

Suzi Perry is trackside at the Circuit de Catalunya, near Barcelona, for round six of the MotoGP championship.

It's been an exciting season so far with reigning champion Valentino Rossi already well aware that he has a real fight on his hands to retain his title. The Italian rider has a fantastic record on this circuit and has finished on the podium every year since he moved up to the top class of the sport in 2000.

Rossi's great form here includes five victories but he has had to settle for the runner-up spot for the last two years, as first Casey Stoner and then Dani Pedrosa beat him to the chequered flag.

Tennis – Queen's

Live event/outside broadcast
Sunday 14 June
2.00-4.30pm BBC ONE

Sue Barker hosts live coverage of the final of the Queen's Club Championships in London.

Last year's event went according to seeding with top two Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic reaching the final. Spaniard Nadal lifted the famously huge trophy after outwitting his Serbian opponent in two tight sets and went on to win Wimbledon three weeks later.

British hopes of a finalist this year rest with Andy Murray, who won his first-ever match on the ATP Tour at Queen's four years ago as an 18-year-old. Could this be the tournament in which he clinches his first title on grass?

Sunday 14 June

BBC Three brings viewers live coverage from South Africa as European champions Spain begin their Confederations Cup campaign against Oceania Nations Cup winners New Zealand.

Since their European Championship success, Spain have continued to trail-blaze their way across Europe and are unbeaten in 31 competitive fixtures since November 2006. This will be their first taste of the Confederations Cup and the first experience of international competition for new boss Vicente Del Bosque, who took over from Luis Aragones last summer. New Zealand have taken part in two previous Confederations Cups but are yet to win a game.
