Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine and Israel are the competitors performing to impress judges, including illustrious conductor Richard Bonynge, in the third concert of BBC Cardiff Singer Of The World 2009.
Bass Tomislav Lučić is flying the flag for Croatia, soprano Izabela Matuła for Poland, baritone Csaba Szegedi for Hungary, counter-tenor Yuriy Mynenko for Ukraine and soprano Claire Meghnagi for Israel as they compete for a place in the final.
BBC Cardiff Singer Of The World 2009 is presented by Petroc Trelawny and Josie D'Arby.
