Mike Harding presents an hour of the best in folk, roots and acoustic music. On tonight's show, the acclaimed duo Spiers & Boden talk about their new album, The Works, released as they mark 10 years together.
John and Jon met playing sessions in an Oxford pub in 1999 and released their debut album in 2001. Before long they established themselves as among the most exciting purveyors of English traditional music. Eliza Carthy later hired them for her backing band and, in 2004, they founded the many-headed folk phenomenon, Bellowhead.
Despite their other projects taking off in such a big way, John and Jon have continued to perform as a duo. On tonight's show, they tell Mike how and why they do it all.

The Disappeared is a group of men and women in Northern Ireland kidnapped, murdered and secretly buried by the IRA. Andrew Martin explores their story.
Eighty-year-old Margaret McKinney took on a terrorist organisation – and won.
Her son, Brian, disappeared in 1978 aged 23. Attempts to question the IRA were met with intimidation. For 17 years she lived in silence and fear but all she knew was that Brian was dead.
As the political talks of the Nineties gained pace, Margaret approached a community organisation and asked them to help her. The Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains was set up. Huge excavations began and, finally, Margaret was able to find and bury her son.
Bodies are still being found – the latest last November – but the money is running out to continue the searches. Margaret wants the last six families to be able to bury their children too.
