BBC World Service's multimedia service for the Spanish-speaking world, BBC Mundo, has launched an online partnership with El-Nacional.com, one of the leading sites in Venezuela.
The agreement, which comes into force today, means that the multimedia content from bbcmundo.com, including full-text items and videos, will be carried by El-Nacional.com. The website will also feature a dedicated BBC section.

"We are delighted with this development, which will further expand our presence in Venezuela."
Miguel Henrique Otero, CEO CA, Editora El Nacional, says: "At El Nacional we are always searching for ways to optimise our news processes. This content agreement with a prestigious media organisation like BBC Mundo will enable our online audience to have access to content updated on a daily basis."
