BBC Radio Ulster remains the number one listened to radio station in Northern Ireland with an average weekly audience of 554,000 listeners tuning in each week – according to the latest RAJAR figures for Quarter Three 2009.
These latest figures show an increase of 76,000 listeners year on year (478,000 listeners in Quarter Three 2008) and an increase of 103,000 listeners quarter on quarter (451,000 listeners in Quarter Two 2009).
The top performing Radio Ulster programmes according to average weekly reach are:
BBC Radio Foyle, meanwhile, has an average weekly audience of 28,000 listeners.
