Murray And Lovejoy's Sports Express on Radio 5 Live

Colin Murray and Tim Lovejoy are joining forces every Friday evening on BBC Radio 5 Live to take a humorous, quick-fire review of the past week in sport plus throw ahead to what's coming up that weekend.

Murray And Lovejoy's Sports Express will be broadcast every Friday night at 9.30pm from 14 August as part of the new look 5 Live Sport and will also be available to download as a podcast at bbc.co.uk/fivelive.

Tim Lovejoy says: "Sport is all about opinions and you will not find two more opinionated people than Colin and me.

"I'm looking forward to working with Colin as he's a great broadcaster with immense knowledge.

"As for my knowledge I might not always be right, but I'm never wrong."

The Murray And Lovejoy's Sports Express starts on Friday 14 August 2009 on the eve of the new Premier League season in 5 Live Sport – Kicking Off With Colin Murray.

Every Friday Colin will look ahead to the weekend's action with an expert panel of guests, including former Chelsea, Everton and Scotland player Pat Nevin.

Colin will also host 5 Live Sport on Sunday afternoons, as well as Fighting Talk, which returns on Saturday 5 September (11.00am-12.00noon).

From Monday 17 August, 5 Live Sport will be extended until 10.30pm, Monday to Thursday, with more reaction and analysis from the evening's sporting action including the Champions League, international, Premier and Football League matches, plus listeners' views on the night's events.

Arlo White will present 5 Live Sport from 7.00pm on Mondays, including The Monday Night Club, with regular guest John Motson, and Mark Clemmit's Football League round-up.

Mark Pougatch will host the show on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays with the week's big domestic, European and international matches.

And Eleanor Oldroyd completes the line-up on Thursday evenings which include Uefa Europa League coverage.
