Radio 1's Zane Lowe presents Arctic Monkeys live from Maida Vale

Zane Lowe

On Monday 17 August Zane Lowe presents Arctic Monkeys live in session from the legendary Maida Vale studios.

Broadcast on BBC Radio 1 from 7.00pm, the band will give an exclusive performance of previously unheard material from their new album.

The making of the record, plus the band's future plans, are just some of the topics Zane will cover with the four-piece during this two-hour special.

Zane Lowe says: "I have been a big fan of Arctic Monkeys right from the start – they did their first ever session with us at Maida Vale.

"So, I'm looking forward to celebrating with our listeners another brave new record in the place where it all started."

Zane has followed the band since their first demos surfaced back in 2005 and, earlier this month, he had the world exclusive first play of the band's latest single, Crying Lighting, chosen as his Hottest Record In The World.
