BBC Radio 1's Greg James is packing his bags, shades and sun cream ready for a UK summer tour – with a twist.
From 18 to 31 July Greg will travel the length and breadth of the UK to help students who are working during their summer holidays.
He'll be offering a helping hand with their summer jobs – whether it's selling ice creams, washing cars, stacking supermarket shelves or performing on stage at a holiday camp. Whatever the job is, Greg is up for giving it a go!
Greg says: "As a student I spent many hot summers delivering pizzas and cleaning factories so I know just how hard holiday jobs can be.
"I'm looking forward to getting out on the road to lend our listeners a hand and hopefully bring a bit of Radio 1 to brighten their shifts!"
Jo Whiley will be following Greg's progress on her weekday show (10.00am-12.45pm) and Greg will be doing regular blog updates at bbc.co.uk/blogs/gregjames.
Greg presents the Early Breakfast Show on Radio 1, Monday to Friday, 4.00-6.30am.
