Update – 12 May 2009: please note this Cook-A-Long will now not take place on Wednesday 13 May.
It's ramekins at the ready on Wednesday 13 May as Chris Evans' BBC Radio 2 Drivetime team embark on their third Cook-A-Long, rising to the occasion by baking cheese souffle live on air.
Under the expert supervision of award-winning chef Lawrence Keogh, Jonny Saunders and Rebecca Pike will attempt to make the perfect cheese souffle, putting Lawrence's recipe to the test.
Listeners are invited to join the bake-in at home and to send in photos of their culinary achievements for display on the show's gallery pages alongside pictures of Jonny and Rebecca's efforts.
The first Cook-A-Long kicked off in March with the great Yorkshire Pudding Challenge as Jonny and Sally "Traffic" Boazman took up the baton of creating brilliant batter, again under the watchful eye of Lawrence. Jonny's pudding was declared the winner, but in April's Cook–A-Long it was Rebecca who conjured up the best Microwave Chocolate Mug Cake.
On both occasions thousands of listeners contacted the show with pictures of their culinary efforts, a selection of which can be found on the Drivetime website.
Chris Evans' Drivetime show can be heard on Radio 2, Monday to Friday, 5.00-7.00pm.
