Autographs of the stars and breakfast with Paul and Jo to be auctioned for Children in Need on BBC London 94.9 FM

Photographs, books, CDs and DVDs autographed by stars including Barbara Windsor, Liza Minnelli, Julie Walters, Jackie Collins and Richard Madeley are to be auctioned in one huge lot by Robert Elms this Friday to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

The items have been collected over the past 12 months when guests have visited the BBC London 94.9 FM studios in central London.

Robert says: "When guests come in for interview we get the books and CDs they're promoting sent to us, so we thought we'd get the stars to autograph them, save them, and then auction them for Children in Need."

He adds: "Whoever the successful bidder is will get some amazing items, including a signed copy of Ray Mears' book Vanishing World: A Life Of Bushcraft; signed photographs of Liza Minnelli and Petula Clark; and a signed copy of Tony Christie's CD Made In Sheffield."

But before Robert holds his auction, Jo Good and Paul Ross are hosting their own breakfast show auction.

They are offering a listener the chance to join them for breakfast at the St Pancras Grand Restaurant before waving the lucky listener au revoir as they board – first class – the Eurostar train for a day trip to Paris on Wednesday 10 December.

Listeners will only be able to bid for the lots during the shows that they are being auctioned by.
