Robbie Coltrane

Robbie Coltrane reveals Cracker movie hopes on this week's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross

Robbie Coltrane tells Jonathan Ross this Friday that it's time for Cracker - The Movie.

Appearing on this week's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, the Harry Potter star says he'd love to see his acclaimed crime-cracking psychologist character on the big screen.

Robbie tells Jonathan: "We always wanted to do a film. All you have to do to raise the money is say that George Clooney is a possible suspect."

Also on the show is British tennis no.1 Andy Murray, who tells Jonathan that he can win Wimbledon.

He says: "Yes, why not? You have to think you've got a chance of winning."

Andy says he thinks the lack of star British players in tennis is a class issue.

He says: "I think that's a problem. It was difficult for me to get courts in Scotland, it was easier to play football. I moved to Spain because I thought it was more competitive."

And he tells Jonathan that the best women players are Russian.

"The Russians are pretty special," he says.

Jonathan also chats with TV gardening guru Rachel de Thame and there's music from Paul Weller live in the studio.

A Hotsauce TV production for BBC One.
