BBC Coventry and Warwickshire adds 15,000 new listeners

BBC Coventry and Warwickshire has achieved its highest listening figures since the station's launch in 2005, according to the latest figures released today by RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd).

Figures show that 99,000 people listen each week – that is an extra 15,000 listeners tuning into the station from across Coventry and Warwickshire, compared to the last quarter, with audiences tuning in for an average of 9.5 hours a week.

David Clargo, Managing Editor, BBC Coventry and Warwickshire says: "This really is fantastic news. We would like to thank all of our listeners for their continued support and welcome the 15,000 listeners who have recently joined.

"Our success is testament to the hard work of all the staff here at BBC Coventry and Warwickshire who have worked incredibly hard since the launch of the station to make this radio station accessible and entertaining for the community which it serves."

BBC Coventry and Warwickshire broadcasts on 94.8, 104 and 103.7 FM.
