Lily Allen And Friends starts Tuesday 12 February 2008 at 10.30pm on BBC Three




Lily Allen hosts her own show, based on the social networking phenomenon that helped to launch her career.


Viewers are invited to become Lily's virtual friends and shape the show by contributing to topical discussions, putting questions to guests and even featuring in parts of the show.


The audience will consist entirely of Lily's online friends, who will have signed up at


The website will also host exclusive video content from Lily, which the audience can add to their own social network profiles and websites.


Guests include the hottest celebrities, topical guests from the online world, chart-topping bands and lesser known acts chosen by Lily and members of her network.


Lily Allen And Friends will also follow the progress of the breaking new music acts showcased on the programme.


Guests in the first episode are comedian David Mitchell and Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Junior.


They will be joined by web legend Zay Tonday, who has had over 14 million hits on his YouTube clip Chocolate Rain and there will be music from Reverend And The Makers and a new band chosen by Lily's network of friends.

The series was commissioned by Elaine Bedell and Danny Cohen. The BBC's Executive Editor will be Karl Warner.


Lily Allen And Friends is the latest in a raft of new entertainment commissions for BBC Three, building the channel's push into popular studio entertainment shows and formats.
