As a special contribution to raising money for Comic Relief, the BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour's programme has invited three men to contend for the position of co-presenter for a day with Martha Kearney.

The winner will be decided by public vote.

The contenders for co-presenter are:

Richard Hammond – Top Gear presenter who miraculously survived a 280 mph crash

Kelvin MacKenzie – former editor of the Sun newspaper

Andy Hamilton - writer and comic much loved for his appearances on The News Quiz and other Radio 4 shows.

To vote, call one of the following numbers -

For Kelvin MacKenzie, 09011 16 12 01

For Richard Hammond, 09011 16 12 02

For Andy Hamilton, 09011 16 12 03.

Calls cost 25p with BT. Mobiles and other networks may vary. At least 12p from each call will go to Comic Relief.

On Monday 26 February 2007, Woman's Hour will broadcast each of the three contenders making their pitch for a once in a lifetime chance to co-present alongside Martha Kearney.

Red Nose Day is on Friday 16 March.
