Tittybangbang
Debbie Chazen in Tittybangbang

Tittybangbang
Starts Tuesday 10 January on BBC THREE

Debbie Chazen biography

"Lots of different characters – that's what got me," says Debbie Chazen of her attraction to Tittybangbang.

"Then when I saw the scripts, I realised what I was letting myself in for!

"Every day of filming, I woke up thinking, who am I going to be today? Paula the darter is a favourite; the teeth added a whole new dimension and the darting tongue was a late addition. But I would like people to know that I had a stunt bottom for the Quilters!"

Debbie trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Her film credits include Mike Leigh's Topsy Turvy, Suzie Gold, Tooth and the lead in Feeder, an award-winning short which debuted at this year's London Film Festival.

On television, she appeared most recently in Bafta award-winning comedy The Smoking Room, Cynthia, Mine All Mine, Murder in Suburbia, Grass, Nicholas Nickleby, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Midsomer Murders, Holby City, The Bill, Casualty, EastEnders, A Christmas Carol, Killernet, Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married and The Lakes.

Her stage appearances include Mark Ravenhill's Mother Clap's Molly House and A Prayer for Owen Meany for the National Theatre, and A Midsummer Night's Dream with Dawn French at the Albery Theatre.

Voice work includes Marcus Brigstocke's series Giles Wembley Hogg Goes Off, Another Case of Milton Jones and Dinner Ladies for BBC Radio 4.

She narrated the recent Channel 4 series Wakey Wakey Campers!

She is appearing in Philip Pullman's Aladdin at the Bristol Old Vic until the end of January.
