BBC Television Christmas highlights 2005

BBC THREE

Ideal

Johnny Vegas returns as Moz, a small-time dope dealer, in a Christmas special of Ideal.

Moz's pregnant girlfriend, Nicki, returns from Cardiff full of the Christmas spirit and ready to party, but Moz refuses to acknowledge that Christmas is any different from the rest of the year.

But as Christmas morning progresses, Moz's determined misery is put to the test by a string of merry visitors, including the PC, Brian, Jenny the childminder, who is also pregnant, Derrick and his bride-to-be, Yasuko.

All are bearing gifts of skunk, booze and chocolate, and none of them is in any obvious hurry to leave.

Moz is played by Johnny Vegas, Nicki by Nicola Reynolds, PC by Tom Gooman-Hill, Brian by Graham Duff, Jenny by Sinead Matthews, Derrick by Alfie Joey and Yasuko by Haruka Karoda.

Little Britain

For two nights only, Matt Lucas and David Walliams invite viewers to join them for another chance to see their six personal favourite episodes of the multi-award winning show.

Talking exclusively in front of a studio audience, the creators of the hit comedy introduce each episode and discuss their favourite characters and moments.

This unique event will be screened across two consecutive evenings and, as if that isn't enough, by pressing the Red button viewers will be able to access a live, running commentary specially recorded by Matt and David.
