Alan Sunderland, Arsenal hero and scorer of the winning goal in the thrilling 1979 final, will be a studio guest for this Saturday's FA Cup Final on BBC ONE.

Alan will be giving his perspective on the 2005 final, alongside Match of the Day regulars Gary Lineker, Alan Hansen and Peter Schmeichel.

Also joining them in the studio will be Ian Wright, Gary Pallister and Lee Dixon.

Build-up to the final will begin at 1.00pm on BBC ONE, with the match itself kicking off at 3.00pm.

John Motson will provide the commentary, accompanied by Mark Lawrenson.

A number of features will stimulate discussion in the run-up to the game. The great rivalry between Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger will be examined by those who have had the pleasure of working up close and personal with them.

Plus, Jose Mourinho will give his views on the Cup Final.

There will be interviews with players who were on the pitch for the gripping 1979 final, reliving their memories of an enthralling match that was played on a rollercoaster of emotions.

Fans will get a chance to air their views and give their predictions on the final score, and there'll be a chance to see the top ten FA Cup moments.

They will also look ahead to 2006 and the completion of the new Wembley Stadium - next year's FA Cup Final is the first match scheduled to be played there.
