From Monday 9 May, a fresh new sound can be heard on the airwaves when
Sue Dougan takes over the reigns of BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's
Afternoon Show, between 1.00 and 4.00pm - bringing to life her own
unique view on the world around her.
Sue previously presented the Evening Show for BBC Local
Radio in the South East, broadcast on various BBC stations across the
region, and has recently relocated to the Cambridgeshire area.
She takes over from Ray Clark, who
has moved on to present the Drive Time Show on BBC Essex. Ray can still
be heard on Radio Cambridgeshire on Sundays between 9.00am and
The new Afternoon Show consists of a superb mix of music
and chat and takes a look at Cambridgeshire life, with an emphasis on
the quirkier side of the county's characters that you rarely get to
Sue joins the station with an abundance of experience
in radio behind her, previously working for BBC Radio Northampton and
The Capital Radio Group among many others.
Sue says: "I can't wait to get cracking on the
new show, I'm looking forward to it immensely. It's great to be a part
of such a great team and also to be a part of such a thriving, exciting
county as Cambridgeshire."
