House of Tiny Tearaways
Konur Hakan Emir and parents

The House of Tiny Tearaways

Family Eleven: Behaviour

Tracey (34), Bulent (34), Hakan (four), Konur and Emir (two-and-a-half) from Manchester

Twins Konur and Emir are extremely wilful and badly-behaved. They both have tantrums on a daily basis and their brother Hakan is getting neglected.

The twins' tantrums often involve them throwing themselves on the floor and screaming as loudly as they can. When they get into this mode, they are uncontrollable. They refuse to move from where they are crouched and they lash out at anyone who tries to help or comfort them, letting out high-pitched screams.

Tracey and Bulent met in Turkey when Tracey was on holiday, and got married nine months later.

They are from very different cultural backgrounds and much of the problems stem from their differing opinions.

Bulent is very relaxed, whilst Tracey wants more organisation and order.

They have tried various techniques to deal with the tantrums but they cannot agree with one another on the best way to proceed from here.
