This week's Talking Point on Sunday 26 September at 3.06pm on BBC World Service focuses on the hostage crisis in Iraq.

Presenter Robin Lustig will be joined by Terry Waite who was held hostage in Lebanon for five years.

He will also be joined by Chris Van Zandt, a senior FBI negotiator for 30 years before going freelance.

Robin asks if the increase in kidnappings is a symptom of the lack of security in Iraq and how the government and private firms should respond to them.
