BBC Drama Serials
The Long Firm is the latest
in a string of dramas from BBC Drama Serials that reflect the diversity
and range of dramas across BBC Television.
On BBC TWO this year these have included Every Time
You Look At Me and Hawking plus The Alan Clark Diaries on BBC FOUR/BBC
TWO.
Most recently on BBC ONE there was Andrew Davies' He
Knew He Was Right; the BAFTA Award-winning Charles II The Power
& The Passion; England Expects, Passerby; Auf Weidereshen Pet; and
Debbie Horsfield's popular series Cutting It which returns next year
for a fourth series.
Finally this autumn there is Sandy Welch's Victorian
love story North and South, an adaptation of the Elizabeth Gaskell novel;
Pete Bowker's Blackpool, a darkly comic musical thriller about one man's
ambition set in the Las Vegas of the North; A Thing Called Love, Billy
Ivory's signature drama about love and sex; and Pride, a magical and
dramatic tale of love and survival on the plains of Africa.
