NEW Top of the Pops announces new presenter
MTV's
Tim Kash has been named as the brand new presenter of ALL
NEW Top of the Pops which launches with a live one-hour music
extravaganza on Friday 28 November on BBC ONE.
Currently
the presenter of the live daily news bulletins on MTV and its daily
music and entertainment show Total Request Live, Tim Kash is an
edgy, quick-witted and talented presenter who at only 22-years-old
is one of music television's rising stars.
Tim
will continue to present on MTV alongside his new role on ALL NEW
Top of the Pops.
Tim
says: "I'm very excited at the prospect of presenting ALL NEW
Top of the Pops.
"Like
most of us, I grew up watching the show, but more importantly it's
an institution, having broken so many bands over the years.
"It's
a fantastic opportunity to be involved in re-launching the programme
and breathing new life into one of the one of the greatest music
shows in television history.
"I'm
honoured to be part of it. To work on both ALL NEW Top of the Pops
and MTV - two of the biggest names in music - is a dream come true."

ALL
NEW Top of the Pops marks the start of a new era for the world's
longest running music show as it goes live with a new theme tune,
new set, new logo, the best new music and its fantastic new presenter,
Tim Kash.

Tim
Kash Biography -
As
well as presenting MTV's live daily news, which goes out on MTV
UK and globally on MTV World, Tim also presents the news on MTV's
live request show Total Request Live.
Tim
researches and writes scripts enabling him to employ his unique
style, personality and enthusiasm.
He
also hosts the MTV Web Forum which he launched in order to discuss
music news issues with viewers online.
Tim
gained experience working on the Trans World International lifestyle
and gaming magazine show GamerTV.
He
also worked on the live entertainment and music show The Pulse for
the NOW broadband and satellite channel where he presented several
shows on-location from the Homelands and Reading Festivals.
As
well as presenting, Tim writes his own column for music magazine
Touch.
All the
BBC's digital services are now available on Freeview,
the new free-to-view digital terrestrial television service, as well
as on satellite and cable.
Freeview
offers the BBC's eight television channels, interactive services
from BBCi, as well as 11 national BBC radio networks.
