Ferguson is to be a co-host on Steve Wright's Radio 2 show
Sarah
Ferguson, The Duchess of York, has agreed to become a BBC Radio
2 presenter for three days from tomorrow (Tuesday 9 September) to
Thursday.
The
Duchess is a regular listener and fan of the popular Steve Wright
afternoon show which attracts an audience of 6.3 million listeners.
Sarah
was a guest on a recent show and was challenged to come in and try
her hand at interviewing and presenting.
The
Duchess will be working alongside Steve and co-hosts Tim Smith and
Janey Lee Grace.
Guests
already lined up include: Cilla Black (Tuesday), Elvis Costello
(Wednesday), Lord Attenborough (Thursday) and Westlife (Thursday).
Steve's
show goes out every weekday between 2.00 and 5.00pm.
All the
BBC's digital services are now available on Freeview,
the new free-to-view digital terrestrial television service, as well
as on satellite and cable.
Freeview
offers the BBC's eight television channels, interactive services
from BBCi, as well as 11 national BBC radio networks.
