Just For Laughs

Starting on BBC ONE, Saturday 31 May, 6.30pm

Just For Laughs is a hilarious new hidden camera show for prime-time Saturday nights on BBC ONE starting this wek (31 May) at 6.30pm.

Just For Laughs features ordinary members of the public in very very funny, hidden camera set-ups.

See how the general public react to obscure and ridiculous situations that they stumble across in everyday life.

How would you react if a lady with her arm in plaster asked for help getting her keys from the back pocket of her very tight fitting jeans?

What would you do if someone asked to give them a hand carrying a heavy box and then they walked off down the street chatting away to a friend?

This unique show has no presenter and with more than 20 amusing set ups per half-hour show it moves along at a fast snappy pace.

It emphasises how we have the ability to laugh at ourselves, rather than at each other.

This heart-warming feel good series is the ideal teatime programme for all the family and will have viewers laughing out loud.

Already a huge success in Canada, Just For Laughs is the perfect way to start Saturday night viewing.

Just For Laughs is a Wild Rover in association with BBC Northern Ireland production commissioned by Lorraine Heggessey, Controller, BBC ONE, and Jane Lush, Controller Entertainment Commissioning.

The six-part series will be produced by Wild Rover's Philip Morrow.

Mike Edgar is the Executive Producer for BBC Northern Ireland and Pierre Girard is the Executive Producer from Just For Laughs in Montreal.
