Just Up Your Street- Junior!

Talented teenagers across Wales are invited to show off their star qualities by auditioning for a very special programme, to be broadcast on BBC Wales in November.

Junior Just Up Your Street is looking for musical youngsters under 16 years of age to take part in a non-competitive children's version of the popular talent show Just Up Your Street, hosted by BBC Radio Wales broadcaster and comedian Owen Money.

"Junior Just Up Your Street will be a showcase for talented young singers performing the widest possible selection of songs - from pop to classical, from R & B to musical theatre," says Alan Wightman, producer of both Just Up Your Street and Junior Just Up Your Street.

The programme is looking for budding solo singers, who must be under the age of 16 on 7 November - the date of recording.

Auditions will take place at BBC Wales in Llandaff in early September.

"Junior Just Up Your Street will provide viewers with a vibrant 30 minutes of entertainment television," says producer Alan Wightman.
