

Tributes to Spike Milligan
Comedian
and actor Spike Milligan, one of The Goons, has died aged 83 at
his home in Sussex.
The
BBC ONE schedule tonight (Wednesday 27 February) has been changed
to include Spike Milligan - The Last Goon (10.35 to 11.05pm).

was a comic genius. His imagination knew no boundaries. He was the
soul of the Goons and the inspiration for generations of writers
and performers from Monty Python to A League of Gentlemen. To the
very end he maintained his capacity to charm, to fascinate and infuriate.
Spike was unique.
