BBC World News is the BBC's international news and information television channel. It provides news, business and sport, plus award-winning current affairs series and documentaries, to a weekly global audience of 76 million viewers.

BBC World News reaches more than 276 million homes in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. Of these, BBC World News is available in 159 million 24-hour homes globally. It is also available in 1.5 million hotel rooms, on 57 cruise liners, 42 airlines and 34 mobile phone platforms.

BBC World News contracts with BBC News to provide the core news output for the channel through a dedicated newsroom team of around 70 staff. In addition, the channel has access to the BBC's 50 international news bureaux and its 250 correspondents worldwide.
