Gillian Marles has worked for the BBC for more than 20 years.
She started her career at the BBC World Service in Bush House, London before moving to Scotland on the journalist trainee scheme.
She has worked as a producer and reporter across BBC Scotland.
In 2004 she was named Regional Consumer Journalist of the year by the Trading Standards Institute.
Gillian is married and has two boys.
