Stephen Nolan joined the BBC Radio Ulster daytime schedule in January 2004, making a long held dream come true.
He currently presents The Stephen Nolan Show on weekdays from 9.00 to 10.30am for the station.
Stephen joined BBC Radio 5 Live in June 2005, where he presents the 10.00pm to 1.00am slot on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays.
The 32-year-old east Belfast man has won four Sony Gold Awards since joining BBC Radio Ulster in 2004 and has seven Sony Gold Awards in all under his belt, including winning UK Broadcaster of the Year in 2003.
Most recently, in May 2006, he won the Sony Gold for best Speech Programme for his Radio Ulster show.
Stephen has been voted best national and regional presenter for Nolan Live (BBC One NI) at the Royal Television Society Awards twice.
Educated at Royal Belfast Academical Institution, Stephen once infamously went on a TV weight loss campaign during which he gained one stone in weight - he likes his cream buns!
