Since joining Drive she has reported live from across the UK and abroad, including the inauguration of President Barack Obama.

Before joining Drive, Anita presented her own show on the network from 10.00pm to 1.00am, Mondays to Thursdays.
On TV, Anita currently presents The Daily Politics with Andrew Neil, weekdays on BBC Two.

During her career she has interviewed three presidents from South Asia, eight prime ministers from the sub-continent, and two British Prime Ministers. She has welcomed everyone from Hans Blix to Mr T to her radio show.
Before joining the BBC, Anita was the European Head of News and Current Affairs for Zee TV, an international satellite and cable station. She was one of the youngest TV news editors in the country, taking over the reins at the age of just 25.
Writing has always been Anita's passion, and she has been a columnist for the Guardian, as well as India Today and The Asian Age newspaper.
